The Aquasol AFBT-2.5 is a fiberglass weld backing tape measuring 2-1/2 inches wide by 41 feet long with a silver finish. The fiberglass tape supports the back side of a weld joint to control penetration and bead shape during open-root welding on plate and pipe. Supplied as a single roll for industrial, contractor, and MRO welding programs.
